As there great interlink between control and signal processing, this important group will work in close collaboration with the control and autonomous systems group. It will mainly focus on the research of the state-of-the-art signal/image processing algorithms design and techniques. As various signal and/or image processing algorithms will be required in an intelligent system, therefore, this group will also work on developing those algorithms and implementing them in collaboration with the embedded systems group. It will also work on the implementation of the most modern complex control algorithms. A successful collaboration between the members of these groups will result in new technologies.
