As most of the systems (e.g. robots) are electro-mechanical in nature, there is a great need of smart mechanisms and efficient mechanical design. This group will engage itself in conceiving the structural/mechanism design of the systems under development at the center. A great level of interaction with the other groups, and especially the aerodynamic systems group, will be required to materialize a successful mechanical design.
