Director's Message

The center is built with the mission to become a leader in intelligent systems in the region. The center is contributing to the research and development in the areas of industrial automation, robotics, autonomous systems, etc., owing to the fact that modern development is due to advancement in the automation and artificial intelligence. The research and development activities at the center cover a wide range of areas in engineering like control, electronics, computation, sensing, system architecture, mechanical design, manufacturing, intelligent materials, etc. The center is also addressing the development of a sustainable and balanced infrastructure and better utilization of the available resources; human and material. Moreover, a lot of emphasis is put on the human resource development and collaboration between the universities and industry for rapid induction of the developed technologies into innovative products. The center is also augmenting its strength and increasing its visibility in the world by having international collaboration with leading researchers of the world.
 
The center is committed to extend the knowledge base of the society by arranging the training workshops, seminars and courses for participants from different cadres of society. It is also arranging competitions open to the whole society for generating innovative and productive ideas for some initiative and problems solving.
